Subject	Searched no results.. Leaving timing belt cover off?

Message	I have seen a few TT's that have the timing belt cover removed, seemingly permanently, in order to show off the pulleys, etc. A search for "removing timing belt cover" returned no relevant results. Is there a reason to do or not do this other than the risk of getting a rock for example in a gear between it and the belt? "Boosting as funds and time permits, funds mostly..."
